Hi, there! I'm a graphic design strategist dedicated to building brands and digital marketing solutions fit for small-town life.
My work is rooted in a fundamental belief: rural folks deserve good design. Our businesses and organizations can communicate with the sophistication and consistency of big city brands, and I'm here to help.
For the first decade of my career, I designed brand identities and strategic marketing communications for higher education institutions and rural nonprofits. That experience refined my ability to create visual identities that feel connective, true to their purpose and built for longterm expansion.
You'll see most of my portfolio concerns businesses and organizations in Appalachia in particular. I love working with local and regional people because we often feel deeply connected to the same things– the land, improving our communities and celebrating what we can do for one another. This commitment, in all its beauty and complexity, is what makes us special.
