Your go-to partner for branding that matters.
If you browse my portfolio, you'll see a lot of my work concerns businesses and organizations in Appalachia. I love working with local and regional people because we often feel deeply connected to the same things – the land, improving our communities and celebrating what we can do for one another. This rootedness, in all its beauty and complexity, is what makes us special.
For the first decade of my career, I built brands and strategic marketing communications for higher education institutions and rural nonprofits. That experience refined my ability to create visual identities that feel both timeless and true to their purpose.
Now, through Design Leisurely, I bring that same approach to helping folks give their work a voice that’s clear and full of heart.
Together, we’ll craft something that inspires and welcomes sincere relationships, all while centering your vision. Let’s rally your people!
A life's work should mean something. That's why I choose projects that match my values.
If you or your organization is focused on any of the following, let’s connect!
↓↓↓
Art, music and theater: celebrating creativity and the stories that move us.Economic development in Appalachia: strengthening our vibrant communities – helping local businesses and organizations keep us connected to one another.
Education and access to fresh food: funding schools and combating food insecurity, especially for young people.
Environmental advocacy: supporting the work toward a healthier planet and sustainability. Earth – the one thing we all have in common!
Equity and safety: standing with those who fight for justice and inclusion for all.
